Republican Party of Florida Celebrates Sweeping Election Victories Across the Sunshine State

While national Democrats notched wins in states like Virginia and New Jersey, and New York City turned sharply left with the election of communist Zohran Mamdani, Florida once again stood apart — delivering decisive local Republican victories across the state.

From coastal communities to city halls and town commissions, Republican candidates across Florida scored decisive victories, reaffirming that the Sunshine State remains the model for freedom, prosperity, and local leadership rooted in service.

“While other states veer left into chaos and higher taxes, Florida voters continue to choose leaders who believe in personal responsibility, strong families, and safe communities,” said Republican Party of Florida Chairman Evan Power. “Last night’s victories show that our message is working. From the Panhandle to the Keys and everywhere in between, Floridians are voting Republican because they trust us to deliver results.”

Among the night’s highlights:

In addition, Republican Emilio González advanced to a runoff for the Miami Mayor’s race on December 9th.

“These victories are proof that conservative governance isn’t just a slogan — it’s a proven formula that delivers results,” Chairman Power added. “As states like New York embrace radical figures like Zohran Mamdani, Florida continues to lead the way. Florida Republicans are winning elections, solving problems, and keeping our state the envy of the nation.”
