Hakeem Jeffries and His Violent Political Rhetoric Is Failing in Florida

The Republican Party of Florida soundly rejects House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries’ doubling down on his violent rhetoric against Republicans, even after a third assassination attempt against President Trump within the last few days.

“Hakeem Jeffries is nothing more than a political puppet and his violent rhetoric against Republicans, especially after a third assassination attempt against President Trump, reminds voters just how radical the Democrat Party has become,” said Evan Power, Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida. “While Democrats like Jeffries traffic in insults, Florida Republicans continue delivering economic growth, safer communities, lower taxes, and record in-migration from states run by Democrats.”

Jeffries is particularly angered that Democrats may likely lose midterm elections as states such as Texas and Florida are recalibrating and creating new district election maps to reflect he massive migration that has occurred throughout the country as millions of Americans flee Democrat run states.

Florida’s congressional maps are being updated to reflect one simple principle: population growth and equal representation. Since 2020, millions of Americans, a huge number coming from Democrat-run states, have chosen Florida because of its freedom-first, friendly business and low tax/no state income tax policies.

“Redistricting based on updated population realities is not controversial—it is responsible governance,” said Power. “The numbers matter, and the data justify fair and constitutional maps that ensure every vote carries equal weight.”
Florida’s updated approach moves away from unconstitutional racial gerrymandering and toward race-neutral districts grounded in population and geography.

“Democrats want maps drawn to protect politicians. Republicans want maps drawn to represent people,” the Power added. “That contrast is exactly why Florida has become the model for the nation.”

With a voter registration advantage of more than 1. 5 million voters and continued momentum across every region of the state, Florida Republicans said they are eager to make the contrast between common-sense leadership and Washington extremism clear in 2026.

“Florida doesn’t need lectures from Washington Democrats,” the Power concluded. “We’ll keep doing what works, and voters will keep rewarding results.”
