Florida Leads the Way: GOP Weekend Honors Susie Wiles, Charts the Party’s Future

Orlando, FL — The Republican Party of Florida (RPOF) celebrated a major milestone this past weekend with the Florida Freedom Forum and Red Florida Dinner, bringing together a powerful crowd of grassroots supporters and conservative leaders, and proving once again that Florida leads the way for the future of the Republican Party.

A key moment came as Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff to President Donald J. Trump, was honored as the 2025 Statesman of the Year for her role in delivering historic victories that helped reshape Florida into a Republican stronghold.

“Susie is the architect of our biggest wins and a national force in conservative politics,” said RPOF Chairman Evan Power.

President Trump sent a message praising Wiles for being a brilliant strategist and true patriot.

Speakers included Governor Ron DeSantis, Attorney General James Uthmeier, CFO Blaise Ingoglia, Congressman Byron Donalds, the RNC’s next Chairman Joe Gruters, and a slate of strong congressional and state leaders, each laying out a bold vision for the GOP’s future — with Florida as the model.

“Florida leads because we deliver results,” Power said. “We’re not just winning, we’re shaping the future of American conservatism.”
