Another Doomed Florida Dem Campaign: Demings Eyes a Run for Governor

Jerry Demings’ run for Governor will end the same way his wife’s Senate campaign did – crushed by 16 points in a complete and utter rejection of the Democrats’ failed liberal policies and their lack of backbone. This is the sequel nobody asked for. He’s weak, out of touch, and desperate to keep the Demings name in the headlines.

As Orange County Mayor, Demings has wasted taxpayer dollars and is now under investigation by the Department of Government Efficiency for a troubling pattern of financial waste. He even had to be pushed into signing an ICE agreement to follow the law – another glaring example of failed leadership.

Meanwhile, Florida Democrats are now mired in party civil war – saddled with David Jolly as Charlie Crist 2.0, trapped under Nikki Fried’s flailing leadership, and watching their party collapse as Republicans surge ahead. With 1.3 million more registered Republicans than Democrats, Florida isn’t just red, it’s a GOP fortress.

Florida Republicans are united, energized, and ready to deliver another humiliating defeat in 2026 to the Democrats. The Demings family’s latest power grab doesn’t stand a chance.
